London Cancer and Manchester Cancer to be studied in new research on the centralisation of specialist surgical services

The National Institute for Health Research has awarded a research team, led by Professor Naomi Fulop of UCL, £1.2 million to study the centralisation of specialist cancer surgical services within London Cancer and Manchester Cancer. The study will commence in September 2015 and will run for three and half years, focusing on the impact of the centralisation of specialist pathways for four cancers across London Cancer and Manchester Cancer.


London Cancer’s Annual Engagement Event celebrates successes of last year and looks ahead to 2015/16:

On Wednesday 3 June, over 100 representatives from primary and secondary care, patients and carers, and the third sector, came together to hear about London Cancer’s achievements over the past year.
